Sustainability doesn’t mean compromising on indulgence—it means being thoughtful about how we use our resources. Through regular monitoring and measurement of our energy use, we continually adapt our practices to meet our sustainability goals and reduce our impact wherever possible.
We are proud to partner with Pinery, an electricity provider that supplies 100% renewable energy. By tracking and benchmarking our energy consumption each month, we can clearly see where improvements can be made and take meaningful action both in the short and long term.
Our energy management initiatives are part of a wider sustainability journey that also includes waste reduction, water conservation, and environmentally responsible practices throughout the hotel.
What we’ve done so far:
- ✔️ Upgraded to energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the hotel
- ✔️ Ongoing renovations to our heating system, allowing us to distribute heat more efficiently and comfortably across the building
- ✔️ Installation of motion sensors in corridors to ensure lighting is used only when needed
- ✔️ Daily energy walk-throughs by our Duty Managers, ensuring lights and equipment are switched off when no longer required
- ✔️ Monthly monitoring and benchmarking of energy use to track progress and identify further opportunities for improvement
…and this is just the beginning. We are continuously exploring new ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint.
